Cosmic Cantina is a psychedelic dining experience concept located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The bar-restaurant is decked out in art featuring famous Mexican artists infused with psychedelic colors and elements.
The branding is bright, colorful, bold and unique. The icons I created were intended to be an array of fun, thought provoking and randomness. The key-lock in the eye is a nod to one of my favorite designers, Oliver Hibert. The liquifying technique draws from the psychedelic era and I wanted the imagery to pay homage to famous Mexican artists and musicians. I felt this brand called for a few different fonts with a trippy and groovy aesthetic.
