Ulta is a well known and loved beauty retailer that supplies various cosmetic and self care brands and also features an in-house salon.
I wanted to give the brand a refresh while still maintaining brand equity. I cleaned up and simplified their current logo by removing the swoosh and setting it in a higher contrasting sans, Sinhala MN. I updated the color palette to give it a cleaner and slightly more sophisticated and current feel. The illustrative pattern was added to give a fresh and fun attitude to the brand.
